These books and resources will continue to enhance my students' literacy skills to help build their self-confidence in reading. These leveled texts are colorful and have a high interest will allow the students to have various choices to choose from. By building our classroom library, the students can enjoy independent and small group reading instruction for their success. Our library is enriched with books that vary in theme, culture, and genres. Students will be able to choose books, which will help them continue to enjoy independent reading time. By funding these new books and resources, my students will gain reading skills by choosing from various books that will allow them to make progress when reading independently at their grade level. They will also be able to choose books that interest them to share with peers for collaboration. These books will increase their reading ability while building on various reading skills and reading stamina for comprehension. My students enjoy reading and going to the library. Funding this project will allow them to have their classroom library to which they can have daily access. They have already shown their love and interest in reading, and this project will allow them to enjoy reading while gaining reading skills to become lifelong learners!
