Some of my students currently believe that they do not like reading or that reading is boring. This can be a struggle for a teacher who loves reading in a reading-focused class. By gifting my students with a class set subscription of Scholastic Scope magazines, my students will be exposed to different types of literature, engaging stories and an opportunity to put their knowledge to work in a new way. I will use the interesting stories and activities in each Scholastic Scope magazine to engage my students in every standard we explore. Students will use their Scholastic Scope throughout each month and make great use of each edition!

About my class
