Our middle school population is approximately 250 students. Our gymnasium only has 2 baskets that serve 4 school basketball teams, and numerous recreational teams as well as our physical education classes. Basketball is extremely popular in our community. During the winter months, our gym is used seven days a week! Most of our teams consist of about 15 players sharing two baskets. When I watch or coach our teams, I think how much more we could do with an extra basket. With a portable basket, we could use it during the winter season, but also take it outside in the summer for more opportunities.

About my class
