Band class is a fantastic opportunity for students to get a hands on music education. I specifically teach percussion, and not every student is able to purchase the proper practice materials. Having a classroom set of the necessary practice materials creates a level playing field (literally) for every student! Students ranging from 6th-12th grade will benefit from this project. Music educators always stress the importance of practice to their students, and I want to continue that culture in my classroom. Musicians are always striving to become the best player possible on their instrument, and as a music educator I want to provide that opportunity to my students.

About my class
