My girls come from all different backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses' and cultures. We are working with what we have to ensure that our team looks like just that, a team. We created our own designs and bleached our tees with the finances that we have. But the most expensive items are those I couldn't ask their parents to buy. The Blue Fire Dance Team has SOUL but the last thing that will bring us together as a whole, are the soles of their feet. I'm asking for help in purchasing white shoes to help our girls LOOK how they feel, united. All of the coaches want the girls who cannot afford the extreme costs of a competition team to feel like they are truly a part of one at our middle school. This is the last step in getting them to the stage!
