Sitting for a long period of time is hard for any person, but especially middle school students and even more especially for students who may already have some attention difficulties. Having the bouncy bands on the desks allow the students the opportunity to fidget, expanding some of that pent up energy elsewhere. The bouncy bands are low profile so they are not distracting to other students and also available at a moment's notice, allowing the student to use them when they immediately need them. Being given the opportunity for movement while staying at their desk is ideal for the students to continue learning without feeling restricted. By donating to this project, you are helping my students find that feeling of focus and allowing them to stay immersed in their studies.
