Students will use the Chromebook for practical application projects and internet research to understand banking, money management and currency exchange. Students will also continue to use the Chromebook for interdisciplinary units, technology integration, research and inquiry, and multi-media presentations. Project-based activities enable middle-school students to utilize research skills, build teamwork, enhance communication, encourage active listening, and promote critical thinking to solve real-life problems. Projects of various lengths include students creating graphic novels, school brochures, vermicomposting systems, virtual museums, and book trailers. I am so excited to motivate students to learn topics of interest and relevance to their lives.
