This year, we will be reading The Tiger Rising and Number the Star during the fictional and historical fiction story. I wanted to have enough copies of the text so students can annotate with their reading and writing partners. Having enough copies allow my student with special needs to following along and stay engaged during the read aloud. During our weather unit and historical fiction unit, students need a lot of text resources and as of now, my class is limited on bins. We make a lot of charts during the year and I want to be able to preserve my charts. I am looking forward to an exciting year full of learning with a fully equipped classroom.
