My students want to learn the fundamentals of screenwriting and video production, and part of this entails being able to learn how to shoot and edit HD video. The demands of video editing and applying video effects can be taxing on a computer system. My class needs a computer like an iMac that is capable of running high-end video editing software. My students hope to shoot and edit short films that they will be able to submit to festivals and present to the school. I think giving the students a chance to work with industry-standard software and equipment will make a great difference in their appreciation and understanding. My goal as an educator has always been to bring more creativity and opportunity into the classroom. Please help me make that possible for the students in my class. Thanks!
