All classrooms today need technology to enhance learning and much of it will support myself and my paraprofessional in our mobility during instruction. My classroom technology now confounds me to where my "tech station" is situated in the corner of the room with continual awkward pauses for switching in cables and what-not. An Apple TV allows me to move about the classroom with my laptop or Ipad so I may sit down with one student and switch screens for other students who need such projections for reference. It's the modern way of multi-tasking that enhances student learning when a teacher can quickly move from one activity to another maintaining student focus. Also, I teach English Language Arts and I've discovered Flocabulary to be an effective learning tool in that it provides not only immediate feedback for students working on their vocabulary and parts of speech, but also it provides wonderful attractive activities that make the learning fun and interesting.
