My students love hands on activities and math centers are just that. It empowers them by allowing them to have an active role in their learning. We would love to get math centers that are differentiated to meet students needs and interest. They also provide much needed review, practice and enrichment during each math unit. These center activities will provide students with the additional enrichment in addition and subtraction number sense, place value, regrouping, telling time, counting money and measurerement. These math centers will target students' real learning needs. My 2nd graders will build independence and practice the skills needed to further their mathematical knowledge.
