My students will build their number sense through playing Sequence, collaboration with Difficult Riddles, and strategic thinking and strengthened word usage through the games listed. My hope is that on Fridays students will first write about what game they will play, with whom and where. This encourages students to explain and utilize writing to convey their plan. I want to open up a world of possibility and collaboration for my students and I believe games are where it's at. My students will build confidence with strengthening their spelling abilities and add to their applied vocabulary knowledge. They will grow in their Math concepts all while having a blast!
