Ideal for whole class, small group centers, and one-on-one settings, BrainPOP and BrainPOP ESL can be used in a variety of ways in the classroom, from introducing a new lesson or topic, to illustrating complex subject matter, to reviewing content before an assessment. For example, students will watch animated videos on a given topic, practice note-taking skills, and complete quizzes in order to improve their listening and comprehensions skills. Content is carefully mapped to the Common Core and aligned to other academic standards. This means students will receive access to rigorous online materials related to state standards. BrainPOP contains Science, Math, Social Studies/History, English Language Arts, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Music, Health, Reading, and Writing. BrainPOP ESL will help English Language Learners attain proficiency in the English language.
