Imagine a world where the line between classroom and home is erased, and the students have the opportunity to share their learning on a bi-weekly basis with their families at home... With the TrippTastic Podcast, students will take their weekly learning and form a podcast we will record and share with our families! The more our families at home know about what's going on in the classroom, the easier it becomes to connect and create discussions at home! Students will have the chance to create podcasts based on our lessons in astronomy, photosynthesis, the water cycle, plate tectonics, and all of the exciting topics discussed throughout the sixth grade year. Students will also work on their skills as writers to develop their own scripts to prepare for each podcast episode. As a teacher, we're always looking for ways to reach out to parents in new and innovative ways, and also ways that make it easier on our parents... Families will be able to access our soon-to-be-developed "Tripptastic Podcast" webpage to upload our latest episodes!
