Since adapting to the never-ending challenges of remote learning, I have been using the free version of Nearpod, an interactive multimedia slide presentation with embedded engagement tools. However, I recently filled up my storage space under the free license and want to be able to upgrade my product license so that I continue using this tool! Nearpod has allowed for my students to interact with lessons in synchronous, teacher-led sessions, as well as opportunities for my students to demonstrate mastery of ELA skills and content at their own pace during their asynchronous lessons. The Nearpod platform provides my students with instant feedback through activities like open-ended questions, draw it, fill in the blank, matching activities, posting boards, quizzes, and polls. Nearpod has been an invaluable tool for tracking what my students are doing in real-time and minimizes how many browser tabs they have to keep open during our synchronous classes. With a Gold Annual Teacher License, I will be able to increase my Nearpod library storage space. Your generous donation will help me continue to create lessons that engage my students and support them during remote learning!
