I am a first year teacher trying to make my classroom a positive learning environment. My classroom theme is a "camping" theme and when students enter they are in "Camp Learn-A-Lot." The materials I am requesting will aid in this theme. I am requesting TIME for Kids magazines, so my students can have a variety of texts to choose from. I am requesting a wood-themed carpet for my students to sit and read on, as well as a bean bag chair, and over the chair storage for books that cannot fit inside my students desk! These materials will help me in turning my classroom into a camping lover's dream and will assist me in helping my students see my vision come to life.
