These materials will help my students learn in a more hands on way. Since I am a tier 3 math intervention teacher, my students are at least 2 grades below expectations. With the use of manipulatives, my students will be able to learn in a more visual and hands-on way. In my classroom, I strive to give my students a hands-on, game based, center driven environment to help build their confidence and fluency in foundational math skills. I believe students learn better when they are having fun and that is my ultimate goal! I want to turn my math haters into math lovers!
