Proper learning materials allow students to enjoy learning through play and participate in learning experiences. During choice time, our students may choose what area of the classroom they'd like to "play" in. The Science Center is definitely one of our most popular choices. Providing new and exciting materials is an essential component in motivating the children to want to learn. I have noticed that students learn and participate more when they are enjoying their activities. Providing materials that interest the children will keep the students engaged and focused. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them relatable and entertaining opportunities to learn and explore. Insects are one of our favorite discoveries! To find items that utilize this interest is quite an opportunity. While these items are primarily for our Science Center, they will be utilized in many areas of the classroom. I have seen how engaging material options can positively affect my students work and attitudes. I hope that providing new and exciting choices will allow them to continue to grow and learn!
