My fourth grade readers can't get their hands on enough books and magazines to satiate their reading appetites. These two resources will help build our classroom reading resources. The book set is a fantastic group of books that are very high interest books to fourth graders. Many of them are references in our reading and writing units. These titles would be eagerly devoured by my readers. The Scholastic News magazines would be really helpful for our social studies and opinion writing units. Taking today's top news and presenting it in kid friendly terms helps my students to discuss and write about issues that feel so much more important to them.
