These materials will help my students have both a visual and a hands on learning experience in STEM centers. Both of these learning strategies are very importing in a low income kindergarten classroom, as most of these students are just learning how to hold a pencil and recognize their names. My students will be able to explore some engineering designs with the engineering kit. They will also be able to explore what a chain reaction is and how it occurs with the chain reaction set. These manipulatives will make a great difference in my classroom this year and many years to come.
