Students these days are stuck in the digital age, on the couches, and where unhealthy foods are convenient to get. Of course, it is not all the students' fault, but by the living situation and social community they are a part. With the funding of this project, I will start incorporating strength and fitness class in the normal PE schedule for the students. By doing this, they may bring some of these healthy, fit habits home to their siblings, mom, dad and even other friends. A healthier teacher will also be the role model for the students. By getting the staff involved using the equipment, they may also be more committed to changing the students' lives.
