The document camera that I'm requesting for my students will be used daily. Whether I'm giving notes or answering questions about homework, the document camera will be used, It will allow my students to chose between answering questions at the board or answering questions at their desk. Being able to have a clear image of whatever I'm teaching or demonstrating will help my Diverse Learners with better understanding, it will allow me to have multiple groups working on an assignment of different levels. Having a document camera will also help me save time cleaning up when I'm transitioning between classes since I don't have my own classroom and I move from class to class. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve student engagement and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Students will be able to focus better on the academic material at hand, and I will be able to walk around helping the students without having multiple groups of students coming up to write on the board. Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their overall understanding of the concepts being taught as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
