Allowing my students to sit on a clean carpet will spark student engagement. It will allow them to learn colors, sit comfortably and be fully engaged! Students will feel safe and love coming into the classroom because of the bright colors on the carpet. It allows my students to have personal space and want to come to school! Students will sit on a soft cushioned carpet, rather than the hard, cold flooring. The students will feel comfortable and want to learn! We spend a good portion of the day on the carpet learning, singing, and having fun! The students enjoy coming to the carpet for morning circle, having a story read aloud to them, or having a brain break!
