Having Fire tablets and a document camera will allow students to have a clear visual of me modeling, especially during math lessons as I introduce new skills. Having a clear view will enable them to follow along and implement the skills on their own in order to gain mastery of the concepts. The Amazon Fire 7 tablets will bring the world into the classroom as they use the Internet to explore their ideas. They will be able to have access to technology and learn how to use it as a productive resource to gain better understanding of the world. The tablet will be a platform they will use across subject areas to support and further their literacy and mathematical development. During literacy, they will read books that they may not otherwise have access to. They will practice phonics skills to learn to be better readers and writers. They will put math skills into practice in order to gain fluency and mastery. They will browse the web to learn about other cultures, living things and how the world affects us and how we can impact the world.
