We are requesting storage that will allow me to see them from anywhere in the classroom! These materials will help keep my students safe and provide them with appropriate materials to facilitate their learning. My furniture is currently extremely old and the play kitchen is falling apart. It’s their favorite thing to use! They love to play house and cook in the kitchen. They enjoy putting on dress up costumes and roll playing. It’s truly amazing to observe how much they absorb from what they see. Social skills and peer interactions are a vital part of early learning. They would be SO excited to receive a brand new one! The shelving would be wonderful because it allows the teaching staff to see the children anywhere in the room. I currently have high shelving that doesn’t allow for that.
