In the classroom, we share, we take turns, we lend someone our green. But now, during a shelter in place, we don't have enough to go around. Many of the math and science projects involve color coding, diagramming, and illustrating concepts. Our posters and explanations and compass art look so much cooler and are so much more fun when we can choose a color, and sharpen it. Our rural area does not have many art supply stores, and our families have even less access during a shelter in place. These supplies will brighten our students' days and help them, not only to incorporate art into science and math but organize their notes, complete color by number algebra assignments, and graph their data.
