It is difficult to teach about photography when we don't have cameras to use. I want to teach my students how to capture a moment in a way that when a person looks at the image, they are right back there. I want to teach them how to balance an image, to pose a group, and to capture memories for generations of people to see. Will they remember the school dance, the football game, the pep rally if we don't capture those memories? My students have a passion for yearbook, journalism, and photography. I want them to have all the materials they need to fully express that passion, and use it to create a memory-filled yearbook.
