Children in preschool learn through play. They explore materials in the classroom and are able to learn about the world and themselves in a very child-directed environment. At this age, through sensory experiences, they learn to investigate, ask questions, do trial and errors experiments and most importantly, they learn how to learn. To have STEM hands-on learning I'm requesting a Ramps & Balls Exploration Set, a The Three Little Pigs Problem Solving STEM Kit, Design & Drill robots, a Double Sand & Water Wheel, and a water pump. We'll read Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale and Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale. With quality and age appropriate materials, I can enhance those possibilities of exploration, questioning and discovery, ensuring that children are free to explore according to their own interest, as well as expand their knowledge of science inquiry as they start developing the interest to know how things happen.
