Occasionally my students become overwhelmed with the pressures of academics and the expectations of high school. My students sometimes need assistance to calm themselves and refocus their attention. This list is of different sensory equipment can be used daily to keep students calm so they can focus on learning. The goal of the sensory corner we are trying to build is to help students relax and achieve a calm mental state so they can enjoy learning and reach their full potential. It will include a multitude of different stimuli to help explore their creativity and imagination while also engaging their senses.
