Although my students come to our classroom with unique learning needs, it is important to interact and support one another as a community. Peer interaction is difficult for these students, due to their diagnosis of low functioning autism. This kidney table will instill a sense of socialization and allow for a more structured, intensive teaching setting for our class. With this table, my students will be more easily engaged in social interactions and further their learning! Not only will this table allow for more appropriate social functioning but it will provide ease for staff support. We are so excited to begin our year with this new table and very thankful!
