I want all of my students to develop a love of learning. Differentiated instruction is critical for students to develop a love of learning. If the material is too difficult or too easy, students often get frustrated. My students have the opportunity to spend 30 minutes a day using technology. They play a math game and an English game. Both of these programs differentiate the student's instruction. My students love Lexia and Prodigy. They feel successful because they are working on their own level. In order to have all students playing at the same time they must use headphones or earbuds. Earbuds are usually much too big for 2nd graders. Headphones are perfect but are very expensive to provide for every student. These headphones fit perfectly over the students' ears. These headphones block out all other noises. These headphones also have a replaceable cord, this will ensure that they will last for many years.
