Student engagement is a priority in the classroom. Many of my students are visual learners and any examples that I can project on the board as I explain would help capture their focus. Most of my students come to class tired from working the night shift. Whatever help I can give them to make my lessons more lively and interactive will have better the learning outcomes. A document camera will help me model note taking, research, and writing skills. We can maximize our time as we can "show and tell" at the same time. It will help awaken their imagination and make the senses work actively as they get clarifications and visuals right away.
