Art is many students’ favorite part of the day, but sometimes just drawing or coloring gets old! Neither of our art classrooms (I service two schools) have a suitable drying space that can be used by all students at once, meaning we are mostly limited to crayons, paper and other dry supplies. Having a large, portable drying rack that doesn’t take much space will allow my students to complete collages, paper mache, paintings, and any other project with wet materials that are not currently feasible. Many of my students come from low-income homes, so art class may be their best chance for a creative outlet!
