After having traditional chairs in my art room, I learned the stools are a better seating solution for my classroom. In my experience, the stools help keep the students balanced and more attentive in their seat. I just need a long term solution to protect the art classroom floors! I have tried inexpensive solutions for the bottom of the stools to help protect the classroom floors after our custodial staff spend time and money to buff and wax them. The diys only last maybe a month or so before I spend more time and money for a replacement. Please help me find a better solution for the problem. I think the footies are a great idea based on reviews. Also, the sound of the stools moving is distracting and excruciating to listen to.
