In 8th grade science, we take a look at our local environment, the Chesapeake Bay watershed. With a class set of trash grabbers, each student will be able to pitch in without risk of actual contact with the litter. We have a beautiful campus bordered by a forested park and stream. Most students don't even realize the stream is there. The trash grabbers give these children a closer than usual encounter with the beauty of nature all around them. With the storage bin, we can roll out the set at the end of field events. The grabbers make the job fun - like Tom Sawyer painting the fence!

About my class
