An important process of our English Language Learners (ELL) First Grade daily learning class is for students to develop their second language by working in small and large groups and independent work. While they have access to different platforms and activities in cross-curriculum areas, these platforms require them to have headphones. The school district is providing every student with a Chromebook computer but these do not include headphones. This project is to provide them with that resource. Now, with virtual learning, they will be using these headphones in their homes during the first semester due to 100% remote learning. My primary goal is to provide my students with as many opportunities and resources for them to reach their highest potential. My student's come from low-income families and by providing them with new headphones you will contribute to enriching not only their second language but their overall education as well. The donations to this project will help to improve my ESL students' learning and develop a second language. By using their own headphones, students will be able to avoid sharing this item, won't be distracted by others, and focus on increasing their learning, especially when they are learning a second language.
