Our students have been asking if they can learn to play piano! In fact, at least one-half of the 230 students enrolled in the middle-school music classes have repeatedly asked if it would be possible for them to either take piano lesson, or have some keyboards in music for them to learn to play! They have stated that they will even be glad to come in before school to learn! Talk about eager students wanting to be able to express themselves musically! It's an amazing student body! We have an awesome group of students at our new "application school", and the electric keyboards will be used numerous times during the week for students to continue learning how to read music, and also how to play piano! Many of the students understand Gardner's "Multiple Intelligences" and are eager to apply them to learning piano!
