In class, we often use microscopes to see cells or microscopic organisms. The students sometimes confuse dirt, scratches or air bubbles for the correct object. The cameras will easily allow me to project the correct things that they are looking for. I also hope to allow students to use the microscopes with the cameras to take pictures and videos of amoebas, paramecium, and other microscopic organisms so they can better see them and learn about them. "Seeing is believing and believing is knowing and knowing beats unknowing and the unknown"- Philip Roth. I believe these microscope cameras will help open up a new world to the students.
