Helping a preschooler make the transition from home to school is essential to creating an environment conducive to learning. This aquarium will allow my students the full experience of caring for a class pet that was donated by a family of one of my students. We can’t wait to begin the adventure! Having to take care of a pet builds a sense of responsibility in children. Children can develop empathy by caring for a pet, including an increased awareness of the needs and feelings of others. A classroom pet provides a crucial bond to the natural world that enhances your students' health and well-being.
