My students will have the opportunity to create art projects that represent their individuality using the variety of art materials. We will work on self portraits, process art activities, and simple drawings to allow them to express what they enjoy. Learning to work as a team and express themselves verbally will be a key point in our classroom. Children will also be able to use the manipulatives to practice simple math concepts such as sorting, color recognition, and counting. With all of the materials we will practice daily social and emotional concepts like sharing, conflict resolution, and expressing wants and needs.
