This items will support our third grade class in creating writing portfolios! We will be displaying the portfolios all year long for students to build upon their confidence when expressing their ideas in two languages and also for parents and the community to see student's growth throughout the year! The most fascinating thing about my school is that our students read, speak and WRITE in two languages. By donating to our project you will be helping students become proud and successful writers. Writing portfolios are designed to demonstrate a child's progress by using anecdotal notes; writing samples; photographs; self-portraits and more. This collection of a child's work and progress will support students in their experiences as writers. Our goal is to become successful writers in two languages, this items will help students set up their writing portfolios. Students will work on their writing essays every month about a cultural relevant topic either in English or Spanish.

About my class
