I have a mixed abilities classroom, meaning I teach many different types of learners. Most of my students (like most kids) have difficulty sitting still. So why not let them wiggle? With flexible seating students choose how they want to learn by choosing a seat that is comfortable and enhances their learning experience. I am asking for wobble stools to replace basic chairs in my classroom. I want students to try as many seating options as possible and see what feels right. Kids should not have to worry that they can’t move around. When we take this worry away, they can focus on their learning.
