My students take pride in being able to create finished products that have simple 1-2-3 instructions. The School Spirit Chalkboard Coasters will allow the students to work together that are kinesthetic learners as well as working independently. My students struggle with the confidence that they are capable of completing crafts; therefore, this project will assist with building the confidence that they are capable of handling simple step processes. This will teach them that they are more creative thinkers than they believe themselves to be. The students will have the opportunity to market their completed projects to teachers and administrators for purchase with the profits being donated to the Special Education program at our school to help fund further projects.
