With the books in the Harry Potter series, we will begin a book study in class. By doing this, students will be heavily invested in Harry Potter and will want to continue reading the series on their own. By using their own copy of the book, It makes the student more invested in what is going on. I have seen it happen over the years. I have never been able to supply each student with their own copy of the book to use, and I think this will make a huge difference.
