Students at the primary level are drawn into a colorful enriched class. Schools only provide a black and white option. So, we as teachers are responsible for getting colors on our own. I feel students are more engaged and retain more when they see color. Verses a black and white classroom. For Example: In writing we introduce our 1st graders to adjectives. One adjective would be color. With this printer, they will see and understand the adjectives I am displaying before them. I do believe my kids will be able to retain and grown, from where they came from, seeing color.
