7th grade is the building block year that's going to support my students for the rest of their life. The grades for this year is what counts for them to be able to go to a good high school. The basic arithmetic skills they learn this year will be what serves them for the rest of their life. It is said that most students who struggle in math do so because they do not have a good number sense. Students learn to develop number sense as well as their spatial awareness in 7th grade. I am a new teacher and these books will help me plan lessons in a way that will build these crucial skills. These books will help make my students fluent in their foundational arithmetic skills. I can make copies of the books and give them to my students for extra practice. I have also added a few supplies that will help me set up my classroom.
