This book will allow my students to gain a first hand understanding of the different, trials, tribulations, and hardships that people in the concentration camps had to go through. This will help them to understand the lengths the Nazi's were willing to go to in order to destroy the Jews as well as the strength and resolve the survivors had to make it through the genocide alive. By providing them with this first hand experience I am hoping they will better understand the effects of the Holocaust and be able to feel empathy for those who are going/have gone through difficult situations in life.

About my class
