My students are studying weather forecasting and the atmosphere. This project will provide them with hands on activities and lessons that will aid in their ability to understand and predict the weather patterns that they see on a daily basis. We will use hands-on weather monitoring devices that are essential to understanding how we predict the weather. My students will go outside on a daily basis to record the temperature, check rain gauges, read barometers and more on a daily basis. We will be able to determine patterns in the weather by seeing and touching what is going on around them.

About my class
