Effective and engaging early childhood classrooms must offer varied learning experiences to meet the unique needs of each learner. Pre-K is an opportunity to build positive learning habits, and encourage students to engage in active exploration and discovery. The materials included in the 21st Century Learning Community project will allow me to begin creating a classroom that fosters these principles, for example, the tablets and head sets will be used in our new Technology center and serve as the foundation as we find other creative ways to incorporate technology into the classroom. The Flexible seating options aim to provide alternatives for students to ensure all learners are comfortable while receiving instruction. As the year progresses and specific areas of need are highlighted other sub-projects will help complete our 21st century learning community!
