Overall, these Buddah Boards will give my young artists an opportunity to practice painting skills and develop ideas endlessly before a final draft without the need to use paper. These boards will especially help my special ed students build skill, confidence, and independence. I also anticipate that my students who struggle with anxiety and have difficulty getting started will be able to start more easily and take more risks which will in turn make creating and communicating through art more successful and enjoyable! In addition, since these boards are set up like easels and come with "special" bamboo brushes, my students will feel like real artists.

About my class
